The SNMREC Preferred Partner Program is an opportunity for our industry partners to collaborate more fully with the Center. This program is designed to dedicate SNMREC experts and resources to individual industry partner development needs.
Standards Development
SNMREC engineers and researchers are active members of the international standards currently under development for marine energy systems at the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC). Participants are individual members of the American National Standards Institute (ANSI), which contributes the US voice in the international standards. TC-114 is the technical committee tasked with developing marine renewable energy standards, and SNMREC engineers are involved in both Shadow Committees and as experts contributing content.
