2013-14 Gulf Stream ADCP Data Now Available
Data from three buoys deployed during 2013-14 has been added. Buoys were deployed at locations B2, B5, and B6 during moored ADCP campaign ADCP-0003. They were arranged in a triangular pattern, with B2 at the easternmost location, B5 southern, and B6 northern, separated by approximately 3 nm. Buoys were deployed from May of 2013 through April of 2014, yielding approximately 13 months of data from these locations. All ADCPs were 75kHz RDI Workhorse Longrangers, moored approximately 15 meters off the sea floor.
Also, data recovered from the 75kHz ADCP at buoy location B1 during the first ADCP deployment campaign (February 2009 - March 2010) has been posted. This is data from one of the ADCPs in the mooring package recovered in the Azores during 2014 and provides unique data closer to the more consistent core of the Gulf Stream.
The raw data with no corrections or verifications of integrity is now available in the Resource Measurement and Modeling area.
